Salisbury Zumba Gold - Low Impact Exercise Classes

I am pleased you are interested in this class. Zumba® Gold is low impact suitable for those looking for a lower intensity workout.

Please treat these live classes as though you were in a real class environment.

Make sure that you have a reasonable amount of space around you to work out in. Wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, that you can easily move around in. Don't forget to have a bottle of water nearby to keep hydrated.

Also, please make sure that if you are alone, that your mobile or phone is nearby just in case you need help.

Zumba® Gold is perfect for active older adults or people with injuries or those returning back to exercise who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.

The design of the classes introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography and focuses on all elements of fitness. But the main focus is on having fun! Participants work to their own level and join in the motions they feel most comfortable with. No dance experience is needed and there are no wrong moves!

Apart from the fun environment, Zumba® Gold provide a lot of health benefits and is an excellent way to strengthen the bones and muscles. It engages a number of muscles which helps in increasing overall muscle strength and endurance. Another benefit is that it helps in increasing bone density, which protects us from osteoporosis. Stronger muscles also aid in balance and that can help prevent falls! This is ideal of course for many older people who have balance problems or cannot stand for long periods.

It is the complete package when it comes to exercise! It offers both physiological and psychological benefits and is specifically designed for people looking to increase their activity in an inviting, safe and fun environment.
